Culver’s Root is aunique native perennial that adds both height and visual interest to the garden with its one-of-a-kind foliage and stunning floral display. Its tall stems sprout tiered whorls of large, dark green leaves to dramatic effect. Then at the height of summer the top of the plant explodes with striking flower spikes, densely packed with small, white tubular flowers that emit a sweet fragrance, attracting a variety of pollinators such as bees and butterflies. The floral spikes branch out multiple times at the base, creating a form reminiscent of a candelabra.
