Porteranthus stipulatus- Western Indian Physic

Western Indian Physic is a one of a kind plant, whose red stems contrast beautifully with sessile green leaves that grow in tiers, are deeply lobed and have such strongly textured edges as to be almost feathery. Its delicate blossoms have five, widely space white petals that emerge from a pink base. Its foliage takes on a rich red color in the fall, and attractive seed heads persist through the winter, providing multi-season interest
