Liatris punctata- Dotted Blazing Star

Dotted Blazing Star makes a statement in the garden with its slender spires of densely packed purple flowers that rise above narrow, grass-like foliage. It has tremendous ecological value, providing nectar for pollinators, food for caterpillars, and seed for birds. This is one of the shortest and most drought-tolerant of the Liatris species. Stunning as a cut flower.
