Elymus hystrix- Bottlebrush Grass

Bottlebrush Grass gets its name from its distinctive, elegant seed heads that reach heights of 3ft in mid-summer, adding texture and visual interest to sunny or partially shaded gardens. It does well in all but the wettest areas, is drought tolerant once established and aids in soil stabilization with its deep root system. Its seeds provide food for birds and small mammals.
