Yellow Coneflower is a tall native plant whose flowers bear distinctive, drooping yellow petals that flutter in the breeze and radiate out from a prominent, grayish-brown central cone. It has a long bloom time and attracts all manner of pollinators to the garden from midsummer all the way into the fall. It is easy to grow, thriving in full sun to partial shade and is well-suited to a range of soil types, from sandy to clay, as long as drainage is adequate. Drought tolerant once established.
