Small Yellow Fox Sedge is a cool season plant that greens up early in the spring, bringing fine-textured foliage to moist and sunny gardens. In late spring, flowering stalks rise above the leaves to bear long, terminal inflorescences that develop an attractive yellow color after wind pollination. Provides food and cover for a variety of animals and insects. Foliage may lose its luster in the height of the summer. Deer-resistant, with no pest or disease issues.
