Tall Bellflower is a striking addition to any shaded garden, adding vertical interest with erect stems that can reach up to 5ft in height. The only bellflower with open petals and a star rather than bell-like shape, its spikes of large, blue or purple flowers attract pollinators including bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. Individual plants live for two years but their self-seeding nature ensures a perennial colony. Easy to grow and tolerant of clay soil.
